Walk through the wardrobe... ...into the world of Narnia in this unit study that follows the chapters of the novel while introducing learners to the author, read about related science concepts, bake treats from the story, complete crafts, and many other activities. Each section looks at themes and content from two chapters and there are no repeated activities in each section.
This unit study includes 9 lessons:
Before You Enter Narnia
Chapters 1-2
Chapters 3-4
Chapters 5-6
Chapters 7-8
Chapters 9-10
Chapters 11-12
Chapters 13-14
Chapters 15-17
Within each lesson, your learner will read the assigned chapters (or read together), review a chapter summary, answer some discussion questions, review some vocabulary words, read about related concepts and topics (e.g. ice crystals, seasons, choices), and complete a number of activities that could include writing, math, craft, logic, etc. Optional extension activities are provided via QR codes to help you engage further.
